My wife and I had our first and last meal here. Service was slow and poor, dining section was smoky (although it had some nice accents like candles), and the food was okay to poor. My wife had a chicken and grilled vegetable salad that was mediocre (it has NO vegetables, just chicken). I had a monte christo sandwich that was mediocre and overly deep fried. Considering how expensive nearly all the menu items were, I would probably never return. The bar looked busy and it appeared people were having a great time. So I might come here for a drink, and maybe order some appetizers, but dinner is forever more out of the question.

I took my family to this cafe while my grandma was in surgery. I thought it would keep us from stressing about the surgery. It definitely did that! My uncle found chewed gum in his soup. Instead of apologizing, the owner accused us of putting the gum in the soup. He went on to tell us that gum in the kitchen was against health regulations and that his employees wouldn't violate that. Well, if gum in the kitchen is against regulations, what is gum in the soup! The owner insulted us by accusing us of putting the gum there. My 65 year old uncle doesn't even chew gum... and we had more on our mind, like my grandma's surgery, than trying to get a free meal. believe me, if I planned to put something in my food to get something, I would ask for more than a free meal. I would not recommend this cafe to anyone. It's enough that the atmosphere is smoky... even the non-smoking section. If we found someone else's gum in our food, there's no telling what you might find. And don't expect the owner to be kind about it... especially since it must be all your fault. We left all of our food there... including food we didn't touch. We didn't want to risk eating anything else we didn't order.
